Green farm stay cottage is located just 9km from Mudgee approximately four hours drive West
of Sydney, on the western slopes of the Great Dividing Range. Escape to this newly renovated cottage, nestled
between the Cudgegong River. and the Great Dividing Range, and be amazed by
the picture postcard scenery.

Owned and
operated by Jenny & Paul Sherwood, who themselves have sought an
alternative to hectic city life, Sherwood’s Green provides the
quintessential country experience.
The cosy
self contained cottage has two bedrooms and features an atmospheric wood
fire. It’s decor has a distinct country feel and loads of charm, and the
collection of Bonsai trees is an additional unique feature. A complimentary
basket of goodies, which includes chocolates and coffee, is a lovely touch.
..... good old country hospitality, even from the friendly feathered staff
who supply fresh goose and chicken eggs. The cottage also has a backyard
with a large barbeque ...a t night, it is a star gazers delight.
An olive
grove has been planted for future local cottage industry products which will
eventually b e marketed and sold under the Sherwood’s Green label. A variety
of flower plantings surround the cottage. Jenny and Paul are hopeful that
these will also become a commercial viability.
Wake from a
restful sleep to a symphony of birds and be greeted by kangaroos and wombats
who visit regularly at dusk and dawn. The property’s 35 acres also offer
plenty of space to seek out other animal life or just got for a relaxing
walk.
If you are
looking for a quiet weekend away from the city hubbub, and seek an
alternative sort of "wild life", or need some great accommodation
to coincide with the wine and food fairs of the district, visit Sherwood’s
Green. It’s a convenient stone’s throw from Mudgee’s finest wineries
and the cottage food industry
Sherwood Green is a two bedroom self
contained cottage with one double bed and two king single
beds.
Breakfast is supplied for you to cook,
and consists of bacon, fresh eggs, croissants, bread, plunger coffee,
orange juice, milk, butter, jams, local honey, sugar, margarine, coffee
bags, tea, cereal, fruit pots, herbal teas and chocolates.
Tariffs - $150.00 per night
per couple and $30.00 each extra king single. Full House (Double Bed and Two
King Singles) per Night $210.00 A Minimum Stay of Two Nights applies Discounts
for longer stays can be arranged. (Except Public Holidays)
