Some Journey Highlights

The intention of this journey is to embrace creation, by connecting with the land, nature & people. We aim to share experiences with Aboriginal communities on our journey. Your intention for the journey affects your outcome and your experience with the people we meet. With time permitting & travellers willing, Echuca, Barmah Forest & Yorta Yorta Aboriginal Cultural centre will be visited.

Bourke & Gundabooka - Experience Bourke, and the great wharf that carried the wool clip to southern ports over 100 years ago. Heading South with overnight at mysterious Gundabooka – introduced by a local custodian – then travel by 4WD down the river toward Mootwinjee.

Broken Hill - Introduction to country and community with Aunty Beryl Carmichael. Aunty Beryl leads introductions to culture days and camps in her traditional country. She teaches survival skills, and will open us up to new ways of relating to the land in traditional ways. Beryl also travels her community as a cultural officer with the regional division of the education department. We have been invited to share time in her community and share our stories. See the ancient path of the Murray & learn of Tassie Tigers & giant wombats when we overnight at Mungo National Park.
