Day 1 - Depart Alice Springs 8 am to Western McDonnell ranges via Honeymoon Gap & Albert Namatjira country. Introduction to country by local Aboriginal custodian. Tour Stanley Chasm, Simpson’s Gap - lunch. Travel to Glen Helen Gorge for evening walk and overnight camp. Day 2 - Depart for 1.5 hrs drive to Hermmansburg mission, tour mission and site of Aboriginal art school, on to Finke River, and on to ancient Palm Valley plants and landscape. Continue to Kings Canyon for evening meal and camp with local Aboriginal Community. Day 3 - Experience the mighty Kings Canyon with a 3 hour walk – with local guides. Visit "Garden of Eden", spectacular north and south walls. Travel to Uluru for sunset. Overnight camp Uluru/Yulara. Free time at Yulara in evening. Day 4 - Uluru sunrise, breakfast at Aboriginal cultural centre. Uluru guided base walk. Free time at Uluru for personal time, additional walks or climb the rock. Possible meeting with local custodians to help understand local issues and knowledge. Campfire and evening meal. Day 5 - Sunrise at Kata Tjuta and early morning walk in "Valley of the Winds". Return to Yulara/Uluru for sunset from local high vantage point over this spectacular landscape. Overnight camp at Yulara Day 6 - Early morning walk and sunrise at Uluru followed by a hearty breakfast. Tour ends at Yulara (Ayers Rock) after breakfast, with flights departing approx 11am to capital cities. Alternatively for those returning overland to Alice Springs, we depart Uluru area approx 11 for the 5 hour trip via Curtin Springs and a view of the mighty Mt Connor tabletop mountain. After lunch, we travel on to Alice arriving late afternoon.

Includes small group modern 4 wheel drive travel, camping gear, (bring bedding) fees, side trips, and most meals  Five percent of cost supports Aboriginal community & nature re-creation projects.
